Spirit Rfit and spirit burn bugged? - Guild Wars Forums

i just started playing factions, now have a assasin lvl 15 with AL 55
But everytime i get spirit rifted or something like that i get struck for ~150-300 damage. this whiel the discription goes to 100 max orso.
Anyone else had these problems?

The level of your attacking foe can affect the damage greatly. At level 15 your 5 levels below 20. That's a hell of a difference. high level bosses can also make matters worse. Though the 300 damage does sound odd. What is your secondary?

armor level and opponent level are factors in damage you take. the stated damage of spells is correct IF you have armor level 60 and you are at the same level as the opponent (excluding light/holy damage or ele lightning with armor piercing). higher level opponent and lower than AL60 both increase you damage taken.

Bosses now also deal double damage, which might be the problem. Just wait until you get to the the guy who casts a 250 damage deathly swarm...

I took 470 from spirit rift. I was a lvl 12 with 5 AL and he was like a level 24 or 28...but still, thats crazy. (I still occasionally take ~200 with 60 AL and level 20)

yeah, I've been getting rocked by the rit bosses too, my new mantra is 'reversal of fortune/prot spirit are my friends'

I was taking 240 from that level 16 naga boss when I was level 17 with 45 armor, he was insta killing any henches it hit, that can't be the way it was intended.

MCS Banned Join Date: May 2005	I was taking 240 from that level 16 naga boss when I was level 17 with 45 armor, he was insta killing any henches it hit, that can't be the way it was intended. __________________ I just wanted to see if I can do this. Leet.
